Emergency incident response

The Paddl app allows you to report property damage by uploading photos and videos to receive emergency support from a network of approved local contractors.

Incident reporting

Using your Paddl app you or your tenant uploads photos and/or videos of the damage, letting us know what has occurred.

Emergency support

Emergency contractor support can be provided by our network of local approved contractors, be that a plumber, electrician or heating engineer.

Professional property assessment

A professional surveyor will inspect your property within 24 hours to assess the damage, provide a detailed report via the Paddl app, and can authorise immediate mitigation works with the costs being recovered through your insurance claim.

Surveys

A professional building surveyor attends your property to complete a survey within 24 hours*, identifying what reinstatement works are needed.

Reports

An inspection report is produced following our visit and made available via your Paddl app. This can be sent to tenants, agents and your insurer.

Mitigation

Our surveyors can instruct work to mitigate damage to your property such as the installation of drying equipment, with costs recovered through the claim.

Insurance claim initiation

By uploading your insurance policy to the Paddl app and authorising us to act on your behalf, our claims team will assess your cover and manage the entire claims process directly with your insurer for you.

Insurance documentation

You upload your insurance policies to the secure Paddl app, our claims team assesses your cover to ensure you receive what you're entitled to.

Authorisations

You authorise Paddl to handle your claim on your behalf through our client mandate.

Claims

Paddl will liaise with your insurer to raise the claim in the first instance, making them aware of the circumstances and damage at your property.

Insurance negotiations

Paddl manages the claim by expediting the on-site assessment with your insurer's loss adjuster, defining the scope of reinstatement works required, and negotiating with the insurer to ensure the entire claim is approved.

Expert restoration

Once your claim is approved, Paddl provides a detailed scope of works via the app, then appoints and project manages an approved local contractor to ensure a timely, high-quality completion of all reinstatement works.

Once approved Paddl provides an itemised scope of works for your property, available through the Paddl app so you always have it to hand.

Satisfaction guaranteed

Upon completion, photos and videos of the inspected works are uploaded to the Paddl app for your review, and you only sign the final completion note once you are fully satisfied with the job.

Your satisfaction is our priority. If it works for you, we will conduct an on site inspection with you to review the completed repairs.
